What is Dreamwork?

Dreamwork differs from classical dream interpretation in that the aim is to explore the various images and emotions that a dream presents and evokes, while not attempting to come up with a unique dream meaning. In this way the dream remains "alive" whereas if it has been assigned a specific meaning, it is "finished".

Dreamers & their Experience

Annie Lawn, Writer

I joined Bruna’s dream circle on a whim, out of curiosity. As a nightly dreamer, I’ve known for some time that dreams carry messages for us to heed in our waking lives. But still, it felt that I was only scratching the surface. I felt a call to go deeper.

And deep did we go: This circle gave me access to new layers of my psyche. It helped me connect with the collective. It gave me the tools and resources to continue this practice beyond the intimate container Bruna created. It has truly been as rewarding and productive an experience as my time spent in therapy.

While I delighted in my own discoveries, what I truly enjoyed most was listening and learning from the other dreamers. It was a true honor to dive into the depths of consciousness with these wise and wild women — an honor made possible by Bruna, our playful, benevolent guide. When the circle ended, I walked away with the knowledge that it never actually will — forever, we dreamers have each other.

I felt called to join the Dream Circle because my dream world is rich, vivid, and mysterious. I love sharing my dreams, and to find people who can hold space for this is rare. I wanted to understand where my dreams were coming from and what they meant.

What I found most pleasantly surprising about this experience was that tending dreams is as enriching as therapy! I didn't realize how much understanding my dream world would apply to my waking life. I gained a deeper relationship with my dreams. I'm less afraid of the nightmares, more understanding of the mysteries, and see more clearly how the messages from my dreams weave into my life.

Bruna is such a powerful dream group facilitator. She has a unique combination of deep insight, passionate enthusiasm, and non-judgmental compassion. She can hold space for both the light and the dark and via her leadership, the entire group holds the same delicate energy. She also weaves in her knowledge of Astrology and how the planets might be affecting our dreams.

Danielle Dews, Psychotherapist

Bruna's Dream Circle has been an incredibly heartfelt and healing experience for me. I felt called to join because although I had a vivid dream life, I was meeting my dream images with aversion upon waking and felt stuck. The high-vibe energy of Bruna's container and the kinship with my fellow dreamers allowed me to step into a new relationship with my dreams, and I was able to enjoy the exploration of my shadow side that opened up, and delight in the messages my dreamscapes gifted me.

I'm really excited to move forward in further integrating my dreams with my waking life, and I continue to feel the loving support of the Circle while tending my psyche's images.

Jackie Hyland, Entrepreneur

I've always had deep, intense dreams that I knew could be a source of wisdom, inspiration, and self-knowledge, but I wasn't exactly sure where to start. I joined the dream circle to explore this with other dreamers and it was so powerfully healing, more than I could have imagined. Bruna shared her tools, techniques, and skilled facilitation with all of us so that we could know ourselves better and use dreaming as a path for self-love and connection. I am so thankful for the process I went through with this group, Bruna is so worth working with!
