Messages from the Void

On Saturday, March 29th, at 3:59 am PT, the Solar Eclipse will occur at 9° Aries. What is most significant about this New Moon is the number of planets moving through the final degrees of Pisces and the first degrees of Aries. This area of the zodiac is symbolic of our world changing. 

The Sun and the Moon’s conjunction in the sign of Aries can be a powerful catalyst for stepping into self-leadership and embracing new challenges. It can be a time of radical authenticity and sovereignty. And also an opportunity for us to look at the shadows of Aries, and where we might be too quick to act. The Solar Eclipse asks us to sit in the void, to listen to the messages that guide us, and allow our Aries vision to show us the way. With both Mercury and Venus retrograde, this is still not the time to act just yet, we’re at a holding pattern until mid-April.  

Since Mercury is at the World Point of 0° of Aries, the sign that it rules from an esoteric perspective, Mercury becomes a messenger of divine intention. In Aries, Mercury can highlight our spiritual will and The Warrior of Light within us through the power of our higher mind. At time for new creative visions for the next decade. 

Only 2 days after the Solar Eclipse, Neptune, the planet of mysticism, dreams, and higher consciousness, will be moving into Aries for the first time since 1862. No living human has experienced this transit, and we’ll be working with Neptune in Aries energy for the next 14 years. This transit is a changing of the tide. This will open up a new energy, inspiring us to take new risks and channel the vision of our dreams into courageous action. 

The Sabian symbol associated with 9° of Aries is The Crystal Gazer. James Burgess describes this degree of the zodiac as focusing and awakening the non-grasping, all-seeing, subtle mind – sensitive, visionary concentration of attention.” This speaks to the subtleties of the Eclipse and a time for stillness.
